The tale of The Elemental Six begins with one woman, and it is not yet one of romance or happily ever afters. Rue Kylexi, a half fae air magic wielder, starts this journey in the Southlands, the grim, human only territory in the realm of Ethos.
Her secret career as a rogue for a crime syndicate plunges her (unwillingly) head first into a conspiracy regarding the catastrophic plans of a group called, the Organization. Her life and everyone she loves is threatened. However, being the curious little fox she is, not even an assassination attempt will stop her from investigating. Finding answers comes with a cost though, one she is forced to endure to stop the darkness plaguing her city.
Sometimes you must make extraordinary sacrifices for the ones you love. But what do you do when those sacrifices are causing you to be left alone and broken? She is just one person, and she isn't sure there is enough of her left to save the world.
So, will she continue on, or will she let the world break her?
